Procedures TSK Footwear uses one of the world's highest quality ground materials to produce its quality shoes. All leather hides are checked and sorted one by one to create the best possible color matches for all parts of the shoes with the most similar contrast. The contrast differences occur due to the vegetable leather being 100% natural leather. After the color matching of the vegetable leathers, TSK Footwear goes on to prepare the soles. For the clogs produced by TSK Footwear two similar wooden footbeds get picked with the same grooves, lines, and color. Then high quality rubber is glued with a premium glue onto the bottom of the wooden footbed and adjusted to a natural, comfortable feel. Any uneven surfaces and bumps are smoothed out afterwards. Three different leather qualities are used. One is the vegetable leather for the clogs, one is an oil-finished leather for the sandals, both give you the casual look. The third one is an Easy Care leather, used for the sandals as well. All leather types do not stain. The process of cutting and stitching the leather, or nailing the leather in the clogs case, is where a detailed eye comes to play. High quality buckles, laces and velcro are all applied manually with precision. This way every shoe gets the detailed attention it deserves. After the shoe is put together, it is placed on a rack with a mold to keep the leather in position. And finally the shoe is cleaned up and boxed and ready for you, to step into the world of quality and comfort. |
